Positium is a key partner in the Estonian nationwide mobility model prototype project. The agent-based model uses data from 10+ sources, including Statistics Estonia, public transportation services among others.

Impact

• •Drove design and delivery of a first end-to-end pipeline to model scenarios on infrastructure, public transportation and other use cases.
• •Engineering process setup for a team of 10 to deliver the system end-to-end from the early stage, ahead of the initial schedule.

Designed a flexible operating model enabling cross-functional delivery without adding process overhead.

Positium had worked as a top-down led project house for years. The problem - that does not scale. I held workshops using unFIX patterns and agility and set up the practices to nudge a more self-organizing culture.

Impact

• •Reduced coordination drag across distributed teams by clarifying decision rights and interfaces.
• •Introduced and applied unFIX patterns to create a lightweight org structure that balanced autonomy with alignment. E.g Mission teams for deadline-critical work, Revenue Forum to ensure work is driven by revenue, not the loudest voice.

The World Bank funded projects in Mongolia and India focussed on statistics for tourism and migration.

This meant balancing hands-on technical leadership with stakeholder management in complex multinational environments.

With a time-sensitive prototype delivery to a Saudi Arabian enterprise - nothing was off the table, including lending a hand with design and frontend work.

The prototype provided operational intelligence and data visualization and critical compliance metrics of the Hajj pilgrimage.

We built a trustlessly verifiable, privacy-preserving digital green energy certificate product for Adani to enable transparency and ease of verification of energy produced and consumed. This was the first step as the groundwork for energy tokenisation and Web3 use cases.

We joined the benefits of a horizontally scalable private blockchain for fast stablecoin payments, and zkSync as a public chain. The result - a novel take on the established USDC model, and a potentially disruptive combination for trad-fi payments industry players.

With a team of 11, we digitised the construction asset and site management at NEOM, Saudi Arabia, making it a safer place to work.

Guardtime pioneered the COVID vaccination certificate solution first based on the KSI blockchain in April 2021. After that, Guardtime contributed to the Estonian implementation of the EU-wide Digital Covid Certificate project.

ScrumMaster / Analyst on VaccineGuard, a platform that connects vaccine value-chain actors to manage vaccination programs and provide real-time oversight across organizations and borders. The platform was piloted with AstraZeneca.
